John D. Lamb, AIF, CRPC, has been involved with Crime Stoppers for more than two decades. He began as treasurer for the local program in Bartlesville, Okla., and was elected president of the group three years later. John served in multiple positions and then four years as Chairman of Crime Stoppers of the United States of America (CSUSA).

John is truly focused on helping people live safer lives:

  • While CSUSA Chairman, he worked in Washington, DC, on legislation designed to make schools safer.
  • For four years, he worked with the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, House of Representatives, Senate, White House, Treasury Department, FBI, and the U.S. Marshals on legislative efforts to reduce crime and the fear of crime.
  • John managed legislative efforts to include language that would grant reimbursement authorization for Crime Stoppers programs through the Department of Justice Asset Forfeiture Fund.
  • He has worked directly with the FBI and Fusion Centers to route crime tips from the public.
  • In October 2015, John was the first civilian to ever be awarded the International Police and Public Safety 9/11 Medal for fighting terrorism.
  • He continues to work with the Sheriffs and Police Departments in Northeast Oklahoma, using drones to assist them in their investigations.

For the past 25 years, John has served as President of Advanced Benefit Systems. He is an insurance professional, Investment Advisor Representative, Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), and Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor (CRPC) for VOYA Financial Advisors. John has been a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters since 2000 and is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
